Kibarkanlah Jalur Gemilang dengan cara lazim...

Bunga Raya Merah - Bunga Kebangsaan Kita.

Kemerdekaan bukan bererti bebas kerana tidak ada apa atau sesiapa yang boleh berada dalam keadaan independency secara mutlak! Sama-sama kita hayati erti KEMERDEKAAN yang sebenar. Semoga Negara kita akan tetap aman damai, dan terus mempertahankan kemerdekaan yang dimiliki.

Mungkin sebahagian daripada kita, Kemerdekaan itu bererti bebas memilih opsyen dan sumber yang kita miliki untuk execute dan menjayakan sesuatu ... tetapi kita tidak terlepas daripada peradaban, peraturan/undang2, ajaran agama, dsb...

Berbasikal diatas jalanraya pun ada peraturan yang perlu dipatuhi, walaupun semasa kayuhan MERDEKA! Orange Baseball Cap yg diberi percuma itu tidak sesuai dipakai semasa berkayuh diatas jalanraya, pakailah helmet yang sesuai untuk keselamatan.

Very comfortable, responsive and not too soft on rough terrains. Weighs around 13kg is light enough for a full suspension machine.

Friday, Aug 29th - Putrajaya International Fireworks Competition Finale - Team Australia
In conjunction with the 51th Independence Day, Malaysia hosts the International Fireworks competition at Putrajaya International Convention Centre for the 2nd time [first was in 2007 where Team Australia was the champion]

Kayuhan Merdeka MPSJ

Sunday - Kayuhan Merdeka MPSJ

Sempena sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan ke-51 Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ) menganjurkan program Kayuhan Merdeka MPSJ pada harini bermula dengan pendaftaran pada jam 6:30am. Bukan satu pertandingan tetapi aktiviti secara kolektif yang bertujuan untuk memupuk budaya sihat dan cergas di samping menyemarakan lagi semangat kemerdekaan.

Kayuhan secara beramai-ramai sejauh 30 kilometer yang dianjurkan oleh MPSJ, Kelab Basikal MPSJ dengan kerjasama IPD Subang jaya dan LITRAK itu telah bermula pada jam 7:45am di Kompleks Sukan MPSJ melalui Lebuh Raya Damansara Puchong ke Bandar Sunway dan berakhir di ibu pejabat MPSJ. Tiga 'pit stop' termasuk di Giant dan Tesco yang menghidangkan jamuan ringan. Penaja2 lain termasuk LeRun, McD, EON, Sunway dan WW Holding.

Penyertaan untuk program itu adalah terbuka ke semua tetapi terhad kepada 300 penyertaan sahaja.

Morning temperature 14deg C. Jogged around Tanah Rata with wife. She loves coloful flowers ...

... I always prefer natural green landscapes with clear-blue skies in the background.

... then drove to BOH Tea Center before continued journey to Kelantan via GMusang - Latarek-Machang.

Monday
Left home around 9:15am towards Cameron Highlands via Simpang Pulai. Arrived Federal Resorts on time for checking-in after driving non-stop for 318km in heavy rain all the way. Midday temperature 17deg C. Later in the afternoon went out for jungle trekking with wife and 10+yr-old daughter. Had to carry the little girl on my back on the way down.

Putrajaya and Shah Alam

Sunday
Went swimming at Precint 6 - Putrajaya Water Sport Complex. Arrived there at qtr pass 9. Hardly anybody arrived yet. Probably everybody had gone to the watersport event nearby.

Around 0805hrs [on the way to swimming] stopped over for a brief aerobic stretching at Precint 9 - Putrajaya Community Center

Saturday
Went pedaling around Shah Alam with a small group of new friends... we pushed off around 0730hrs. I was the only one on 14kg -ATB, others on ultra-lite street bikes.

After pedalling I had breakfast only with Bok - while others were cycling back to where they had started. On the way home droped-by to visit a cousin at his home off Jalan Laksamana nearby. He is 2yrs younger . We used to stay together under one roof during childhood a few decades ago. He is recovering from triple heart bypass a couple of months ago.

Wednesday
The evening weather was good. Went out for a light 16 km pedaling along Langat River, then around BBB housing area and finally TT Cempaka before continued cycling home leisurely just before sunset.

As usual, I brought along a GPS for track-logging and a digi-camera to shoot whatever objects of interest that came across my way - birds, cows, water buffalows, wild flowers or just roadside garbage. I shot 'em all.

The evening had come touching my memories, I could hear that yellow bird making its melody....
